COVID Guidelines.

Please take time to read over the points below, they are vital during this tough time for everyone.

If you, or anyone in your household are showing symptoms of Covid-19 then please do not accept or make an appointment. If you make an appointment and then symptoms appear, please contact me ASAP and I will rearrange your appointment.

I will be working to a very strict time schedule. This is because guidelines insist that a disinfection of the salon must take place before another dog can enter the premises.

When I book your appointment, I will give you a drop off time then call 10mins before collection. I expect your full co-operation and to turn up exactly at both times that are given. I have to be very strict with these times as I have a very small window for me to safely disinfect the salon in between grooms. Turning up late or early will cost me time and therefore thorough cleaning may not get done, meaning appointments being delayed or cancelled completely.

Because of the strict procedures I have in place, which enables me to work safely, if you arrive more than 10 MINUTES late to drop off your dog, you will be turned away and full cost of the groom will need to be paid before another appointment will be made.

Please turn up at the time I have given you, not 10 minutes before, not 10 minutes after. If you turn up early and your dog reacts on the table, meaning I cannot finish the groom, the dog will be sent home, as it is.

If you are more than 10 MINUTES late collecting your dog, a £20 FINE will be added on to your total amount as this will then result in us having to postpone the next client being able to attend their appointment.

I require at least 48hrs notice of cancellation of an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of the full groom cost payable before another appointment will be made.

When I give you an appointment, I have took into consideration that your dog may require extra work due to matting/overgrowth, so I have included an extra 15 minutes on to each grooming session to help with that. The ANIMAL WELFARE ACT 2006 states that ‘De-matting during a routine groom is limited to a MAXIMUM 15 minutes and is only possible if the matting is minimal. Any coats that cannot be saved within the 15 minutes will be clipped to a suitable length that is most comfortable for the dog. I will always choose humanity over vanity.

As I cannot assess the dogs’ coat safely whilst you are present, I do ask that you respect my judgement on what I feel is the best cut/length for your dog. This may mean your dog having a shorter cut than it usually would, or that you would prefer it too, but please remember its hair, and it will grow back.

Severely matted dogs will still be charged £10 extra.

One person per dog to attend appointment.

Card payments accepted.

Correct cash payments accepted only. No change will be given.

Thank you for understanding.
I cant wait to see you and your doggos soon.
Many thanks & Love, Lizz xx
